YMCA Lifeguard and Swim Instructor
Job Description
Take on the role of Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at the YMCA of Lethbridge. This part-time role focuses on ensuring a safe and engaging aquatic environment for all members.
As a Lifeguard & Instructor, you will uphold YMCA’s core values of care and inclusiveness. Your main responsibilities include monitoring the pool area, facilitating swim classes, and acting swiftly in emergencies. Additionally, you will contribute to the maintenance and cleanliness of the aquatic facilities while engaging with patrons to promote safety and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce safety regulations to protect patrons
• Teach students in swim lessons and aquatic programs
• Conduct regular checks on pool and changeroom cleanliness
• Report any safety concerns to Aquatics leaders
• Assist in administrative tasks for the Aquatics team
