Position Status: Part Time (12 hours per week) for 6 weeks

Compensation: $17–$20 per hour

About The Role

We are hiring a Y-Active Sport Program Staff to join the YMCA of Greater Halifax/Dartmouth Immigrant Services Team. The role involves running a fun and inclusive Try It sport program for immigrant and vulnerable youth aged 12–17.

In This Role, You Will

• Greet and support clients during program visits, assisting with check-in, navigation, and basic inquiries.
• Provide guidance to appropriate staff, services, and resources as needed.
• Prepare client materials such as forms and handouts.
• Offer on-site support to ensure welcoming, accessible, safe and inclusive client experience.
• Support basic administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and documentation.
