Requirements: The facility Wound/Skin Care Coordinator, duties and responsibilities as a result of education, experience and NHC orientation, and ongoing corporate learning.
CLINICAL: 1. Adhere to established medical/ nursing practice standards and facility policies and procedures2. Provide wound care consultations and educational support to residents and their family regarding wound care management.3. Provide clinical support and coordination for wound care services on a weekly and as needed consultative basis.4. Facilitate consultations by specially trained wound care physicians as necessary.5.
