Workface Planner
In support of upcoming projects, Bird Construction is seeking candidates for the Workface Planner position. This site-based role will be located on a construction site in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. The Workface Planner reports to the Construction Manager and collaborates closely with the project manager and superintendent to plan activity at the workface and achieve company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop installation work packages (FIWP).
- Act as liaison between project controls and workforce supervision.
- Ensure all necessary resources are available before releasing a FIWP and monitor control of the FIWP.
- Determine and coordinate resource requirements and liaise with resource coordinators.
- Establish a regular cadence and process for refreshing and refining workforce plans, roll‑up & action plans with senior management.
