Women's Support Services Worker

(Full-time Contract until January 31, 2027)

What you will be doing:

• Provide personalized support services for immigrant and refugee women experiencing domestic violence, including crisis intervention, safety planning, and emotional support.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand client needs, strengths, and risks; develop and implement individualized service plans in alignment with agency policies and professional standards.
• Deliver settlement services tailored to newcomer women, ensuring integration of cultural, linguistic, and gender‑specific considerations.
• Facilitate group sessions, workshops, and information sessions in collaboration with partner agencies, promoting knowledge‑sharing and peer support.
• Build and maintain a network of community contacts; make appropriate referrals to specialized services such as legal aid, housing, health, and counseling.
