Job Description
Shape the future of vehicle electrical systems as a Wire Harness Design and Release Engineer, ensuring quality and performance from design through launch. Collaborate with teams and suppliers on robust wiring harness assemblies.
This engineer will focus on end-to-end design and validation of electrical systems, ensuring all documentation aligns with master models. You will engage in cross-functional activities to support the product lifecycle and drive continuous improvement, while actively managing engineering documentation and change controls.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead D models and D drawings creation for wiring assemblies
• Validate part drawings against master models and standards
• Author CCDs, CNs, and PERs to meet release guidelines
• Conduct First Piece Sign-Off and support PSO activities
• Manage GIMs entries, including root cause analysis
