Job Description
Take on a key role as an Extrusion Line Operator at Westlake, where you'll ensure safe and efficient operations on 12-hour rotating shifts. Your contributions will directly impact product quality and community well-being.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the setup and operation of extrusion lines. This position requires the ability to run an extrusion line effectively while assisting with packing duties as needed. Your role entails following proper procedures and making crucial adjustments to maximize output.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate startup and shutdown of extrusion lines
• Run one extrusion line during shifts
• Assist in set-ups and tooling adjustments
• Complete required shift reports and checklists
• Support packers with box preparations and labeling
Requirements:
• Must have Grade 12 or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing environments advantageous
