Job Description
Kickstart your career as an Apprentice Water Well Driller. This physically demanding role requires no formal education but needs two years of relevant experience to thrive.
We are seeking candidates with two to three years of hands-on experience for this field-based position. Responsibilities include installing and testing water well systems, as well as routine maintenance on drilling rigs. You will also oversee equipment operation and instruct apprentices, contributing to their development in this trade.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and test water well pumps and piping systems
• Instruct apprentices in practical skills
• Perform routine maintenance on drilling rigs and equipment
• Operate vehicles and manage construction materials
• Assist in drilling and blasting rock on site
Requirements:
• 2 to 3 years experience in water well drilling
• Valid driver's license for vehicle operation
• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement required
