Job Description
Become a key player in industrial water management as a 4th Class Power House Engineer. This full-time role is focused on operational excellence and safety in wastewater treatment and equipment maintenance.
You will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment, silt removal, and starch recovery systems. Reporting directly to the Chief Power Engineer, you will ensure compliance with industry regulations while engaging with facility staff. Your duties will also include monitoring DCS systems for optimal performance and conducting water tests for effective treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment
• Manage silt removal and starch recovery systems
• Perform water tests on infeed and effluent
• Handle treatment chemicals safely
• Monitor DCS screens and adjust for efficiency
Requirements:
• Valid 4th Class Power Engineering Certification
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts
