Environmental Defence has a volunteer program, and we want you to get involved! Are you interested in helping out at events, supporting community outreach, educating folks through social media or learning to advocate for change with your MP, MPP or local councillor? We offer a wide variety of both in‑person and online volunteer opportunities that you can find on our new volunteer portal: Vome.
Special Event in Calgary – June 29th!
This summer, we’re looking for volunteers in Calgary who are interested in advocating for a clean energy future. Join us for the first volunteer opportunity – a special event in Calgary on June 29th, 6 pm‑9 pm, at Sunalta Community Hall, with dinner provided. You’ll learn about how to take action for made‑in‑Alberta renewable energy that boosts the economy and keeps life affordable, as well as other local climate solutions!
