Visiting Inst/Lect/Assist Professor Counseling & School Psychology (Temporary Employee Pool)

Department: Benerd College

Position type: Part Time (Temporary). No tenure‑track. Engagement is contingent upon successful completion of offer letter and qualifications.

Primary Purpose And Essential Functions

The University of the Pacific seeks instructors to teach primarily in‑person, or hybrid classes, part‑time to students in Counseling and School Psychology programs. Visiting instructors/lecturers/assist professors are contracted via offer letters and are expected to perform the following duties:

  • Complete all employment documents and required training, submit signed offer letters in a timely manner.
  • Prepare for courses, including obtaining the approved syllabus, updating the course schedule, teaching methods, assessments and assignments as appropriate.
  • Provide a classroom environment conducive to learning.
