Veterinary Assistant

Regent Park Animal Hospital has an immediate part time opening for a Veterinary Assistant position. We are a very busy one doctor small animal practice.

This position is very demanding and requires a mature person that is confident, hardworking, comfortable working in a busy environment and able to learn quickly on the go.

The successful candidate should have experience working in a veterinary hospital, kennel and/or experience with animals. The candidate should have basic knowledge of veterinary medicine/care.

Hospital Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinarian during examinations, treatments, surgeries and taking radiographs.
• Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms at all times.
• Enter client/patient information using our veterinary software.
• Effectively communicate with clients by answering phones, booking appointments, and performing front desk duties.
