Job Description
Make a vital impact as a Psychiatric Worker with Vancouver Coastal Health at UBC Hospital, Vancouver, BC. Use your Behavioural Science education to assist clients in their mental health journeys.
In this role, you will support the Charge Nurse by providing psychiatric assessments and therapeutic care tailored to each client’s needs. You'll also partake in team meetings and assist with developing care plans. Ensuring the safety of clients during observation rounds will be a primary focus as you transport and care for those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide psychiatric assessments and client care
• Collaborate on developing individualized care plans
• Conduct observation rounds for client safety
• Assist nursing staff with personal care tasks
• Transport at-risk clients as required
