Job Description
Make a difference as an Aboriginal Infant Development Worker with the Vancouver Aboriginal Health Society, focusing on Indigenous early childhood support. This full-time position involves community outreach and family-centered learning opportunities.
In this role, you will work directly with Indigenous families to foster infant wellness and development. Conduct assessments, provide home visits, and develop essential support plans in collaboration with caregivers. The work also includes educational advocacy and fostering positive parent-child relationships to empower families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct intake interviews and collect background data
• Visit homes to support infant and family wellness
• Develop and monitor individualized family support plans
• Facilitate access to community services and resources
• Engage in educational advocacy regarding infant development
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent experience
