Job Description
Seize a 9-month contract as a Senior Tax Manager at Vaco by Highspring. Lead efforts in tax strategy, compliance, and the mentoring of finance staff while managing complex tax scenarios.
In this position, you will be responsible for supporting M&A due diligence and integration approaches. Work closely with Finance, Legal, and other teams to deliver technical tax insights and ensure compliance with Canadian tax laws. Oversee quarterly provision processes and enhance operational efficiency through technology adoption.
Key Responsibilities: • Direct Canadian tax compliance for various obligations • Lead the preparation of annual tax provisions and disclosures • Collaborate on tax audits and manage disputes with authorities • Drive process improvements and implement new technologies • Supervise and coach staff while juggling multiple priorities
