We are seeking an Underwriting Specialist to join our Quebec Region Casualty team in Montreal. The role focuses on generating a pipeline of new business opportunities while managing a renewal portfolio of upper mid‑market, large and multinational clients with revenues over $300M. Location
Montreal, Quebec – 1800 McGill College Avenue, Suite 1100. Work Arrangement
Hybrid: three days per week of in‑person presence at the Montreal office or market‑facing engagements. Responsibilities
Proactively seek renewal and new account opportunities. Complete detailed opportunity assessments with key distributors to identify growth opportunities. Qualify accounts to ensure they align with the organization’s appetite and present sound business opportunities. Make agent/broker/customer and on‑site calls with a planned and well‑prepared purpose. Negotiate terms and conditions and close deals. Cross‑sell other lines of business to increase product density w...
