Overview

Ampact tutors serve elementary/middle school students who need extra support in reading or math, helping children build confidence and succeed in school. As part of an AmeriCorps service program, tutors work directly with elementary and middle school students through structured interventions, encouragement, and relationship‑building.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include working one‑on‑one or in small groups, tracking student progress, collaborating with school staff, and creating a positive learning environment for students. Tutors receive training, ongoing coaching, and all the tools needed; no prior tutoring experience is required.

Qualifications
