Truck Driver

Location: 460 Dobbie Dr, Cambridge, ON N1T 1S7 – On site.

Employment type: Full time, Permanent

Working hours: 35–40 hours per week, 36.00 $ per hour

Shift: Early morning, Morning, Day – Starts as soon as possible. Vacancies: 2.

Responsibilities

• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using GPS or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Pay and receive payments for goods
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
