As the Camp Counsellor under the Language and Culture Manager, you'll guide the development and implementation of camp activities promoting language, history, and culture. Applicants must be high school students of Aboriginal or Inuit descent and preferably have experience interacting with children and youth. Your role involves ensuring safety, compliance, and effective team management.
Key Responsibilities: • Assist in camp program planning and delivery • Recruit staff to support intergenerational learning • Monitor youth policies for legal compliance • Coordinate engaging activities for participants • Supervise campers’ well-being and safety
