Job Description

The Opportunity

This role will work closely with a wide scope of internal areas, including Customer Care, Replenishment, Procurement, Sales, Pricing, Finance, Production and Quality. In addition, you will interact with customers, suppliers and vendors.

Position Description

  • Evaluate the current distribution network, warehousing, transportation and logistics services to develop a plan to efficiently meet customer needs.

  • Source and qualify vendors throughout our distribution and freight channels

  • Conduct contract negotiations with 3PL’s and other vendors to meet costs/service levels/fostering vendor relationships

  • Measure both the performance and costs of third party services and identify opportunities

  • Assist and support investigations of customer and supplier complaints

  • Facilitate projects for ongoing improvements to fill rates and inventory KPI’s
