Job Description
Overview
This position is Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day. Hourly rate = $25.58.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Moving stock between plant and the shipping yard
- Loading and offloading trucks
- Communicating with truck drivers and ensuring all loads are loaded safely
- Completing receiving paperwork
- Housekeeping and restocking the stock
- Picking and packing the orders using a DSI scanner
- Completing all orders including piecework
- Completing any tasks requested by Supervisor or Lead Hand
- Following all safety rules
- Completing all required training
Competencies/Abilities Required
- Safety centered
- Fluent in English – speaking, reading and writing
- Strong attention to detail, organized and focused on the task at hand
- Must be an employee in good standing for attendance and performance
