Starting Salary

• Telecommunications Officer I - $35,******

General Duties and Responsibilities

Performs radio and telephone communications including receiving and dispatching 911 calls for Police services.

The position will work 12‑hour shifts on a 2/2/3 rotation, after training is complete. Training will occur during both day and night shifts.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of communications equipment and ability to maintain required records; knowledge of modern law enforcement practices and procedures; and general understanding of city geography and street system.
