• Operate and maintain Cable plow, Backhoe, Excavators, trenchers, etc.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of proper techniques for installing buried fibre and copper lines.
• Collaborate closely with other equipment operators, directional drillers, and hydrovac teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Install essential components such as conduits, pedestals, and vaults, adapting to varying site requirements.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, particularly when working around existing underground utilities.
• Interact respectfully and professionally with members of the public while on site.
• Accurately interpret and utilize mapping for proper excavation for installation.
• Oversee the regular maintenance and proper care of tools and equipment.
• Understand that working productively and safely go hand in hand.
