Technical Documentation Specialist (temporary 16 months)

Job Description: Reporting to the Director, Standards and Regulatory Compliance, the incumbent will be responsible for producing and maintaining technical documentation for Air Transat's flight operations department. They will also ensure that content complies with regulations and standards to maintain quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Create and update technical documentation in various formats (XML, SGML, PDF).
• Manage change requests for all technical documentation related to flight operations.
• Collaborate with the technical pilots team on manufacturer-supplied documentation.
• Convert Air Transat corporate manuals from DOC/PDF to DITA XML format.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for stylesheets and electronic document viewing features.
• Develop and deploy initiatives to standardize documentation and ensure data integrity.
