Job Description
Become a Teacher Assistant at M’Chigeeng First Nation from August 31st, 2026, to June 30th, 2027. This role is about providing essential classroom support to students.
As a Teacher Assistant, you will take direction from the Classroom Teacher while supporting student learning and development. You will assist with various educational activities and help create engaging classroom displays. Understanding Anishinabemowin and Anishnaabe culture is important for effectively supporting students' cultural learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Aid students with classroom lessons and activities
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
• Assist in setting up learning materials and environments
• Supervise students during school events and trips
