The Teacher Assistant will work under the direction of the Classroom Teacher and School Principal.
Position Summary
The Teacher Assistant is responsible for the provision of classroom support and instruction where applicable.
Essential Functions
- Assist students with lessons under direct supervision of classroom teacher.
- Monitor and report to classroom teacher on student progress.
- Assist in preparation of learning materials and learning environment.
- Accompany and supervise students during activities in school gymnasiums, laboratories, libraries, resource centre and on field trips.
