Tax Lawyer - Transition opportunity for experienced accountants

The Role

Cooper Grace Ward is excited to be extending an opportunity for a senior Tax Lawyer to join our leading tax and tax disputes team within the Commercial and Private Client workgroup. You will have the opportunity to assist clients with a broad range of GST, tax and revenue matters by providing practical advice and managing disputes with the Australian Tax Office and Queensland Revenue Office. Your contribution will be recognised and rewarded with career progression encouraged and supported under the mentorship of industry-recognised senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Advising on a range of GST, tax, and revenue matters
• Objecting to ATO and QRO assessments for tax and penalties
• Assisting clients with responding to ATO and QRO reviews and audits
• Preparing direct and indirect tax sharing agreements, employee share schemes, facility agreements and agreements with service entities
