Swim Instructor
Job Description
The City of Summerside is seeking Swim Instructors . This position focuses on delivering engaging and safe swimming lessons to children, youth, and adults.
Previous swim instructors are encouraged to apply. We also welcome applicants who are interested in becoming certified, as training opportunities may be available for suitable candidates.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan and deliver swim lessons
- Monitor participant safety and engagement
- Track attendance and progress
- Complete skill evaluations and report cards
What You Bring:
- Swim Instructor certification (required or willingness to obtain)
- Standard First Aid & CPR (required or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with participants of all ages
