Job Description
Become a key player in the Surgical Technologist Department Pool at St Josephs Main and Children's. This role is vital for providing technical support during surgical operations.
As a Surgical Technologist, you will perform essential duties under RN supervision, demonstrating expertise in sterile techniques and clinical skills. Your role will be integral to ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment, requiring strong communication and equipment management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in setup and maintenance of sterile environments
• Provide support during surgical operations as needed
• Care for surgical instrumentation and equipment
• Communicate effectively with surgical teams and staff
• Participate in on-call duties and occasional weekend shifts
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must complete an Accredited Surgical Technology Program
• Hold CST certification
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required
