Supportive Living Program Worker

Battlefords Residential Services Inc. (BRSI) is looking for a Supported Living Program Worker (SLP) to assist and teach individuals enrolled in the Supported Living Program to acquire the skills needed to live more independently.

Responsibilities

• Teach/assist individuals with planning and preparing meals.
• Teach/assist individuals on how to clean and maintain a home.
• Teach individuals how to utilize community resources.
• Provide counseling and support based on individual needs.
• Assist individuals in learning and applying personal hygiene principles.
• Assist individuals in accessing medical and dental care under the supervision of the Supported Living Program Manager.
• Provide medication supervision consistent with the SLP level as directed by the Program Manager.
• Plan and participate in recreational activities.
• Provide transportation as needed or directed.
