Summary The Bureau of Labor Statistics measures labor market activity, working conditions, price changes, and productivity in the U.S. economy to support public and private decision making. The position is located in the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Office of Compensation and Working Conditions. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Manage a major labor statistics program. Develop and implement program policies. Lead continuous improvement of program methods and data quality. Represent the program to external stakeholders. Serve as Bureau spokesperson for media relations. Provide expert technical consultation. Contribute to Office of Compensation and Working Conditions (OCWC) management and strategic planning. Supervise subordinate supervisors and professional staff. Manage the division's budget. Oversee research, innovation, and systems development.
