Job Description
Become a leader in the Indigenous Child and Family Centre by promoting culturally rooted programs that empower youth and families. This role emphasizes relationships and holistic support.
As the Supervisor, you will work under the Early Years, Youth and Community Programs Manager, contributing positively to the lives of Indigenous families. You will ensure all programming reflects Indigenous teachings and community needs while maintaining compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Your focus will be on fostering a sense of belonging and identity in children and families through relationship-based programming.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement early learning and community programs based on Indigenous practices
• Guide staff on culturally responsive teaching methods
• Manage program operations, including scheduling and adherence to standards
• Support community outreach and connection building
• Mentorship of students and staff for professional development
