Supervisor, Gas Operations (Kingston)

Primary Duties

The Supervisor, Gas Operations coordinates, directs and supervises the daily work of the Gas Operations group, leading safe, compliant and reliable gas distribution operations by directing staff, overseeing construction and maintenance of gas assets, ensuring regulatory compliance and responding effectively to emergencies. The incumbent also plans and monitors project work against operating and capital budgets, asset management plans and other corporate directives to ensure regulatory requirements are met and work is conducted safely and efficiently.

Major Responsibilities

1. Organize, direct and supervise work activities including inspections, maintenance and testing of gas assets, controls and equipment, to ensure timely, efficient and safe completion.
