Job Description
Join SHIP as a Supervisor for the UA Transition Program in Waterloo and provide leadership in supporting individuals in transitional housing. Your role will focus on mentorship and performance management.
This position requires overseeing daily operations, mentoring staff to foster effective teamwork, and ensuring that program goals are met through effective case management. You will play a crucial role in crisis stabilization and coordinate services that promote health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct staff in case management and client support
• Conduct performance evaluations and manage administrative tasks
• Ensure adherence to agency policies and procedures
• Facilitate meetings for clients with special needs
• Assist in program planning and monitoring of targets
Requirements:
• Education in Social Work or equivalent
• At least 3 years supporting homeless individuals
