IAMGOLD, a Canadian-based gold mining company, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supervisor, Autonomous Control reporting to the Manager of Mine Technical Services. The role will be based at the Côté Gold Mine Site (Gogama, ON) on a 7 on 7 off schedule.
About the role
This role is responsible for leading and coordinating the Autonomous Command team for Côté Gold. The Supervision tasks focus on leading, supporting, coaching, training, and creating a space for team members to be successful and to deliver safe and sustainable production from the mine.
Responsibilities
- Execute production targets in alignment with mine designs and integrated mine-to-mill plans through close collaboration with business partners.
- Monitor operational compliance and benchmarks, investigating root causes for shortfalls while identifying growth opportunities.
