Superintendent

About the role:

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Field Operations, the Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management of operations on assigned job sites. They oversee work teams, coordinate subcontractor activities, and ensure compliance with plans, schedules, and safety standards on site.

Key Responsibilities

• :Ensure proper planning of work on the job site
• ;Maintain a constant presence on site to supervise work and resolve technical issues
• ;Supervise and lead work teams, including both subcontractors and JCB employees
• ;Plan requirements for materials, equipment, and labor
• ;Update project schedules
• ;Work collaboratively with the Project Manager
• ;Inform the Project Manager of any major changes that could impact the project
• ;Monitor and control labor hours (both internal and contracted) and submit time reports to the payroll department
