Summer Recreation Assistant

Overview

McClure Place offers enriched seniors housing in both an independent and assisted living environment. Services are enriched through community, recreation, and health services.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Recreation Service Director in planning, organizing, and implementing resident activities.
• Provide wellness and fitness activities.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with both residents and staff.
• Assist with the development of new programs and activities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a secondary or post‑secondary school, returning to full‑time studies (minimum of three classes) in the fall.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Preferably enrolled in a recreation‑based program such as Therapeutic Recreation, Physical Education, Occupational Therapy, or Physiotherapy.
• Experience working with older adults is an asset but not require...
