Student Lab Technician, Wildlife Analytics Lab

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Student Lab Technician to join our team in the Wildlife Analytics Lab (WAL). The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, processing, and analyzing cementum samples from various species (primarily ungulates). The Student Lab Technician will perform a variety of tasks, including sample extraction, preparation, mounting, and staining, as well as data collection, analysis, and assisting with reporting.

This is a part‑time position (up to 28 hours/week). The Student Lab Technician will have the opportunity to work with a highly motivated and dedicated team of researchers, contribute to cutting‑edge research in cementum analysis, and gain valuable laboratory experience that will propel them into a successful career in the field of environmental science.
