Stroke Outreach Quality Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Stroke Outreach Quality Coordinator oversees stroke services coordination at University Hospital's Stroke Program. Reporting to the Stroke Program Manager, this role collaborates closely with various entities within the program, including the Medical Director of Stroke Services, Department of Neurology, Department of Neurosurgery, Department of Radiology, Department of Emergency Services, Hospital Administration, Upstate Emergency Department, and the Core Stroke Team. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining relationships with staff from affiliated hospitals, Emergency Medical Services agencies, and communities across the region. The coordinator supports referring hospitals in meeting Stroke Program Regulatory Requirements and American Heart/American Stroke Association guidelines.
