Services Your Role & Responsibilities
- Operate as MAHLE supply chain expert for freight and transportation, warehousing, and returnable packaging processes.
- Primary contact for definition of specifications of the external supply chain.
- Define process, methods, and volume plan to tender external freight providers together with non-production materials (NPM) purchasing.
- Collaborate with purchasing to find best possible service providers for transportation, empties management, and warehousing.
- Support implementation of new freight forwarding companies.
- Develop MAHLE's digital supply chain processes in alignment with external and internal infrastructure and partners.
- Define standard processes and tools to support operational logistics and plants.
- Lead logistic cost and performance improvement projects and initiatives.
