Sr Test Engineer

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Sr Test Engineer.

Job Responsibilities

• Determine electric test methods and specify testing machine requirements for the electrical test of sub-assemblies, assemblies and final product. Plan all tooling such as jigs, fixtures, special tools, and similar items for all the electric testing stations at the plant.
• Evaluate existing machinery, fabrication equipment, tooling, etc for safety, capacity, capability, effectiveness, etc. Develop detailed technical specifications for new equipment and manage capital projects.
• Take action on the troubleshooting of electrical test equipment failures and support the root cause analysis of product test failures.
• Outline the required workflow and material handling for the activities related to electrical test, including storage areas, work areas, and workplace layout. Prepare complete electrical test line-ups to test all parts for a product li...
