Sport Program Assistant

About the Role

As a Sport Program Assistant, you will be at the centre of the action: setting up drills, running sport programs, engaging with youth, and generally bringing a positive, welcoming attitude to the space.

Responsibilities

• Make MLSE LaunchPad the best place it can be.
• Foster a culture of warmth, acceptance, and fun while ensuring adherence to expectations, and prioritizing respect and kindness.
• Support the set‑up and execution of in‑person MLSE LaunchPad Sport‑For‑Development programs, including designing, implementing, and evaluating age‑appropriate activities that meet core programming standards.
• Prioritize safety and fun: ensure all youth are physically and mentally safe during programming and keep fun at the forefront of every activity.
• Participate in special projects and other related duties as required.
