Salary: CAD $44.85 - $56.02 / hour

Job Summary: We are currently hiring a Relief Full Time Speech Pathologist to join our Rehabilitation team at Surrey Memorial Hospital in Surrey, B.C.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech language assessment of the patient's communication, speech, and swallow functional abilities, needs, and goals.
• Analyze the patient's needs, establish diagnosis and prognosis, and develop an evidence‑based, outcome‑focused intervention strategy.
• Implement interventions in accordance with established treatment guidelines and educate patients and caregivers regarding self‑management, health promotion, and injury/disability prevention.
• Participate in the interprofessional care planning process and collaborate with the health care team to ensure effective care planning.
• Evaluate and document the effectiveness of interventions, modifying the strategy to maintain optimal functional independence.
