Job Description
Become a pivotal part of our HR team as a Human Resources Specialist in Southport. Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee support initiatives while ensuring administrative excellence.
As a Specialist, you will report to the HR Manager, working hand-in-hand with the Site Manager to implement HR strategies and improve workforce engagement. Your responsibilities will range from recruitment and orientation to providing high-level administrative assistance, contributing directly to organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interviews, assessments, and reference checks
• Create and post accurate job descriptions across platforms
• Track applicant progress in the HR Information System
• Support orientations and onboarding for new employees
• Schedule and prepare materials for meetings and events
Requirements:
• Grade 12 plus post-secondary HR education
• Minimum one year in HR with full-cycle recruitment experience
