Software Engineer - gatineau

Duration: 12 months + extensions

Location: Ottawa 4x/week

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native software solutions using Go (Golang), Kubernetes, Docker, REST APIs, and gRPC.
• Work within agile scrum teams, collaborating with software engineers, testers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver resilient, scalable, and maintainable systems running in multi-cluster cloud environments.
• Develop and operate cloud-native Network Control Systems (NCS) supporting satellite networking; build scalable, distributed backend systems to manage and control next-generation telecommunications infrastructure in a reliable and performance-driven environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Solid software engineering background
• ~5–10+ years software engineering experience for senior level
• Strong backend/distributed systems experience
