Skilled Roller Operator for Construction Projects
Job Description
Immediate opening for a Breakdown Roller Operator to enhance our construction team. Operate heavy machinery safely while performing key maintenance and training duties.
This position calls for proficiency in operating Breakdown Rollers and related equipment within a road construction setting. You will be responsible for conducting daily safety checks and ensuring the safe direction of machinery. The role also involves training new operators to uphold safety practices and follows the company Code of Ethics throughout daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate breakdown and finish rollers safely
• Conduct safety checks and maintenance on equipment
• Manage speed to prevent ground surface issues
• Train new operators on safe techniques
• Promote a strong safety culture among all staff
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Class 5 Driver's License preferred
• Minimum 2 years in road construction
