Shipper/Receiver, Distribution Center (Contract 4 months)

This position is responsible for the preparation of shipping and receiving merchandise destined to customers.

Responsibilities

• Sort the shipping orders by city, transport or priority.
• Pick up and gather cases of gloves according to shipping orders.
• Ship orders with the aid of the shipping system and the bar coding system.
• Check the merchandise received (type, quantity, quality) against the packing list and the purchase order. Complete receiving with the aid of bar coding.
• Tend to customer returns when needed.
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly and perform periodic safety inspection of assigned area.
