Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Session physician would provide vasectomies in our Schenectady and/or Newburgh health centers.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct Clinical Care (90%):
+ Provides vasectomies under local anesthesia.
Clinical Consultation and Training (5%):
+ Provides clinical consultation to advance practice physicians.
Administrative (5%):
+ Participates in Center chart audit procedures and reviews laboratory and diagnostic reports as appropriate.
+ Reports to the Regional Medical Director on all medical complications and other matters as needed.
+ Participates in PPGNY’s quality management activities, including Debriefings and Root Cause Analyses, as required.
+ Ensures compliance with PPGNY’s and regulatory agencies’ standards and guidelines.
