Senior Underwriter – Non‑Standard Personal Lines Team
Location: Vancouver, Langley or Salmon Arm, BC. This is a hybrid position. Responsibilities
Perform risk analysis using internal and external data resources for quoting, negotiating and authorizing the acceptance of moderate to high complexity risks. Build and maintain positive relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders; attend industry seminars and networking events as necessary. Negotiate coverage and price within the company's guidelines and delegated authority parameters. Develop and support professional business partnerships with brokers; respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues proactively. Communicate decisions and respond to requests in a prompt and professional manner. Manage, strengthen and grow a book of profitable business.
