Intact is seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter for its Specialty Solutions team. In this role, you'll manage policy decisions, develop strategic partnerships with brokers, and enhance service quality. Your analytical and negotiating skills will support complex problem-solving and effective communication across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accept or reject insurance policies per underwriting guidelines
• Develop relationships with broker partners for business growth
• Negotiate terms to ensure healthy company relationships
• Participate in broker visits and marketing events
• Mentor team members within Specialty Solutions and beyond
Requirements:
• 5 to 7 years of underwriting experience in equipment breakdown
• Strong customer service and communication skills
